In Vic at least H reg (permit) is basically for 'unmodified' older cars...... This makes you wonder how people get away with stuff like this.

what do think about this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtGO4pX9jLI&feature=em-uploademail

Should be on M plates. Simple as that.
Another example of clowns who rort the system to suit themselves and will be the reason the whole thing is canned one day and won't care because they move on while we who do the right thing get screwed.

totally agree Brett. I think there are probably hundreds of cars on H that should be on M's.

at 67,000 odd its a fairly late comer to permit scheme also, and has taken advantage of it, no doubt knowing he should be on M plates.. It's a big pity Permit cars don't have to be presented at Vic Roads for the permit.

They're in the mid 90 thousands with them now. Mid 95000's were on issue just last week. The 60 thousands were issued about 2 years ago.
My thoughts on that Common-bore is that it would have been CPS'd with the original running gear in it then he shoved all that LS crap in it afterwards. Clubs that don't keep track of what goes on with cars under their direction don't know what goes on after the car hits the road so they simply might not know that some take advantage of that. That's the fault of the club in some ways too because they're under obligation to monitor this stuff too.

Have known of certain people insuring their vehicle and not telling the Insurance company about the modifications.
And this is after the roadworthy has been done.

Dave.
