Yeah, I've seen worse!
Infact, this car was worse, no floors to speak of, and other rust.
It was complete disassembly restored, all rust plate replaced, and a 5-speed added in 8 weeks!!
4 years on it's still perfect. And a bit rare.

Definitely salvageable, don't give up just yet.
Anything is possible these days.

IT'S BEAUTIFUL!

Only needs indicators and a fuel cap - good to go with a little air in the tyres.
Look at that paint work..... It's perfect! Just like my green machine.
I love it!!!

My kind of tear drop!

Welcome to the paddock that we call home.

Stickman

it sat in my dads paddock for years then my step bro asked if he could buy it, sold it for $150 lol. He fixed it up and suprised us all by getting it back on the road, He pretty much killed whatever it had left in it lol. Its got no interior. The motor was shot and im sure the running gear would be caput too! Its sad to see Dod like that :( I will tell my dad not to ch0p him up and bury him just incase i change my mind!

yep sim, u'd (and dad for that matter) would be amazed what the guys rescue these days!
i remember in the "good ole days" we wouldn't even look at cars that didnt run, let alone had bits missing.... but now they get snapped up qik smart, and even get chased half way across this wide brown land to do so!
if it was me.... i'd rescue your car, and at least store it for a possible future resto. it obviously means alot to u, and sitting in the weather only ruins them.... and trust me, they are getting harder and harder to find.
after all, they haven't been built for 40, or more years now!

sooooooo, do we hear a resto comin' on....?

oh god i'd love to. Nowhere to store it here. Would be pushing my luck trying to steal any of Dads precious shed space lol. I need to get it again! It depends on whats wrong with it, And of course the money. And seeing as though i sold him to my step bro. I'd have to buy him back lol

lol, i didnt mean cut it up and turn it into a hot rod (or did i?)!!
maybe flat black with some pinstriping, a nice set of wide rims slot mags or steelies! rebuild the motor and a nice sounding exhaust, and there it is hot rodded!
although i have been thinking about a bellett mixed up with an austin 7 or something similar.......

in all seriousness though have a look at some of the other belletts that have been saved, if your willing to get down and dirty with them, they can come back!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SAVE IT

I collected a cut up 67 model about a year ago, shown below.
It nearly made me cry as I'd gone past it as a complete one two or three times over the previous few years but didn't move quickly enough and by the time I got back to it found that it had been cut into three pieces and attacked by something akin to King Kong wielding a sledge hammer. It was a real pity to see it go that way.
