We all know how to spell "Bellett".

It's a pity we don't have 7 digit personal plates. Maybe one day there will be a rush for BELLETT !

At the bottom is my 1800 DOHC sedan with BELLET plates.

Peter Mc___ got the BELETT ones. Green sedan, now in SA I think. (whats happening with it ???) Also DOHC powered.

Those plates on Conditional Rego (Club Rego), will never happen in NSW, in NSW those plates are only available on full rego at an extra $400-00 approximately each year with our RMS.

TYPICAL NSW GOVERNMENT, MONEY HUNGRY &^%$#((@

Take a caravan rego for example, most other states, $70 approx., in NSW the same caravan $439
State taxes amount to $370 app, rego actually $67-00.

And contrary to what some say, club permits down here will never have 'normal' plates on the system.
They will always be the ones we have now.

Yes,
We have a big choice of types of plates allowed on concessional Rego. One of mine is shown to your left :D
The QHMC (Qld historic motor council) has recently put out a questionnaire to all Qld car clubs about any possible changes to our special interest vehicle scheme we may want or tolerate. One of the questions strongly opposed was that about the restriction of number plate type to only the simple black n white "S" plates.

Yep Dave.
Only plates we can have on the club scheme is the older CH or the now used H maroon ones.
Everything else needs full rego.

yes Dave.

I can live with that, as the usage of our cars on the Permit scheme is pretty free. Today i am taking the trailer to pick up some steel for example. Not far, just a few km and a day out of the Log Book, but that's ok.

depends on how 'one make' or one eyed you are to start with !!

Mine's often known as an 'improved A' also. .......And i don't mean a Hotrod.
A models went from 28-29 in one body shape then 30-31 where the cowl and radiator grille area changed to become the 'improved' model A.
There were some other changes to the body also, but more subtle. Mechanics barely changed though.

The B model followed, in '32. Whereas the T model predated the A.
