We all know that red cars go faster, followed by yellow, blue, then Donkey Green ( using the term "green' in its loosest interpretation) and white is very low on the list. When did the last F1 driver win the World Championship in a white car?........ theory proven beyond doubt!! YP |

yellow is faster than red...... coz red is just pose value for those who aren't fast enuf. and Jenson Button won in the "Braun F1" which was white. was that 2009? |

Hi All well looks more and more likely Asroc wont make the national..... bugga Man its fustrating having moved from Sydney to Tassie....... there just isnt any competition. Only 2 machine shops in town and man they are SLOW............................. I just cant get them to hurry up Add to this that my engine builder's employer has retired and new owners are taking over next week, so not sure when the head will be finished ...... X-mas if I'm lucky.... Strange how people don't share our pashion and priorities James |

not good news, James i guess they dont think you will go mainland for the work, so they charge what they like and are in no hurry to get anything done. Cheaper and quicker to post in north and get it posted back? or even E-go across the strait?? its a little like Perth, but much less industry and more arranged marriages to 1st cousins... was there for short 36 hour trip with work 2 weeks ago. lovely days around Hobart in my Ford XR6 hire car. Hi James. I have found find the machine shops I have had work done with are pretty good. Send me a PM with what you want done. I can usually get most of my stuff done in Hobart in about a week as long as it is standard kind of machining, rather than re-engineering. YP |
