PR91 wrote: the "build plate" issue was discussed and solved a while ago. the all Japanese text bonnet sticker is also on Farmer's tear drop deluxe auto..... coz it was a special order car that was sold here before the auto was officially available. Mine is missing entirely, due to the re-paint. Pity. But I do have Japanese on the drivers door........anybody know what it says? |

"You vely rucky" Geez you crack up, DAVO !! Cheers to the all the Hombres and Gals who did the 50th Bash, and to those who couldn't. So much fun, can we do that again ?? Yes Dave, I did end up voting on how lame it was. But yeah, the big dirt spoon drain did initially spook me. But when logic took over: 5 other Belletts managed to cross it no dramas. And..... it wasn't going to be a photo shoot without this little black (ah, blue) duck. Oh, and Rob did remind me "there's always one in every crowd". Well......THAT'S ME All a bit concerned when Daves Roman stopped because of burning rubber . We were all looking for a dead pelican but instead found Dave doing roadside radiusation of the left rear wheel arch.......with a TYRE LEVER Great to see Laurie again after about a year looking really Bellett enthused. John and Chris, thanks for your hospitality and recieving a bunch of classic Rats to your front lawn. Your restos and classic passion are incredible. The vans were mind blowing !! The trip back along the plains was into a stiff headwind and was at some stages more like tacking a small boat into it. When we got back into the hills the Belletts were at home doing what they do best. Josh and i did stop at Mr. Flibbles for a quick howdy on the way through. Going hard through the hills, Josh's Auto never ceases to amaze, always right there in the rear vision or chasing it. Trying not to double up on anyone, and filling some gaps, here are a few shots. So first some spesh shots of everyones cars and a few of Georges funky GT. Followed by the luncheon table by the river. Proffesor OZ at the head of the table surrounded by beardy disciples

Hi everyone Very late apologies for missing the 50th run, but a BIG thank you to the guys for posting all the photos above... really appreciate the efforts gone to. Definitely suffering withdrawal symptoms being sans road-going Bellett for too long now. Plans are afoot though to have my GT back on the blacktop before the end of 2014... maybe in time for a Xmas run? Anyway thanks again for the terrific imagery and commentary. Cheers, Paul. |

See pics. It does have a crack in it. If you plan to get some made, in the spirit of Bellett owners i will donate it to the cause....might have to charge for postage though only but that could be recovered over the sales. It has a bracket also. A bit bent but can be salvaged for a pattern
