Hi people,

If Sundays are not your thing, don't forget that the excellent OLD SKOOL NEW AGE SHOW is coming up.

Entrant forms are available at:

http://www.offyarockerpromo.com/index2.htm

This is another great show and it occurs down South! Handy if you're me!

Get into it! I'll will be putting the Wasp and/or the Florian in it. Way cool.

Cheers,

Dave

The above Luv/Florian has only the Florian grill, lights and guards. I would much prefer the whole Florian front end on a Luv.

Beautiful! Something to rival George's V6 Wasp in the cool stakes!
Though, that's a big ask.
Hmmm, I know where there's a couple of Luvs not far away..........
but Florian fronts, not common.
Thanks for showing. Please go on sat & post lots of pics.
Cheers, Matt.

Only two vehicles interested me at the show. It was a beautiful day and a great turnout, it was worth the 500kms travelled.

here's a true story.
1994........ my Wasp has hit the road, just in time for an Isuzu get together........ i drive in the gate........ and another Isuzu owner says.............. "LOOK!!!!!!! someone's cut a Bellett down into a ute................."
       !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes, TRUE!!

u expect as much from a non-Isuzu head, but someone who is Isuzu-ified........................

Hey sorry I didn't check back in on this thread.

Where did you get that pic of the RJC156 Florian, Ozluvtrucker? That one is owned by the Dad of a fella I know. His Dad just stopped driving at about 85 years old or whatever he is. He's not going to part with the Florian though....

I took a photo of that car in my girlfriend's street when I was a teenager, using my old film camera. It's the same car; same mis-matched stockies for a start!

We bought the girlfriend's (now wife's) parent's house when I was about 25 and I never saw that Florian in the street again.

Then I met this guy out at Mallala who said his old man had a Florian and a Bellett, then a couple of years later he emailed me photos of the Florian... and it was the same car!

Final part of the story; when I got my car from NSW, I put the plates RJC348 as they are period-style plates and they are a homage to my Mum, Rene Joy Carey who died in 2009. Then this guy comes up to me at a show and argued that my car was his old car.... I couldn't imagine that to be correct as it was from NSW, but he was sure his rego was RJC-something. I pointed out these were custom ordered, but he just couldn't be told.

Then, I was going thru some photos and found this....

and realised that the fact that this rego also starts with RJC is a wild coincidence!
