Us Prince people are looking forward to this. Weather looks to be coming better on Sunday as well.

We should have about half a dozen cars there will give you a buzz on Saturday Stephen to confirm our numbers.

Of interest here is a picture of a friend in Japan, Mr Yasutaka with his famous Prince Skyline GTB race car replica and his Bellett GT-R

I must get myself a Bellett one day....prob from Japan ;). I like the look of them side by side!!!

LUV the Prince.........They're boxy, but they're good!

They have been a hero car of mine for a long time, and I'm one of those that didn't respond to ads when I might have over the years. So it's nice that there is now one in the family. Have had a sit in, but not a drive of.........yet. Wunna these days!

Please show us plenty of pics.
Cheers, Matt.

today has been run and won (by figure of speech!).
we had 4 Bellett's brought along by Steve, Craig, Gricey's and myself, and 5 Skyline's along as well with Jason, Noel, Malcom, Lawrie, and Steve (i think from memory. sorry guys, there were alot of new names to remember!) and one of the Prince mafia in his very nice XW GS Fairmont.
added to this, a few of our members came out, sans Bellett's.... Gav left his at home as little Hughie decided to join in at the last minute and his car wasn't set up for the car seat, Pete B's GT is having a few repairs done, Greg's car is off the road, and Glenn is "between Bellett's" at the moment! there should have been a couple more, but other things got in the way.
special mention to Gricey's for the 3 hour each way trip from Albury to join in, and very special's Moller snr's from QLD for tagging along with Gricey's as part of their trek around the countryside. great to see u all!
we all met up, exchanged handshakes, had a good chat and plenty of laughs, then away we went. i had to leave the group at the start for a detour to Naomi's eldest son's footy briefly (50th game today), and i met them at the finish.
i great BBQ was prep'ed by Steve and Peg, that the BCCV put on, and more laughs were had, as we as ALOT of attention given to both marques by the opposing owners and the comparisons made. was a surprise to see the Bellett's and the early Skyline's share far, FAR more than their age!
after a great arvo, we all agreed to make this a regular event, and build a great relationship between the Bellett and Skyline clubs from our foundation formed today.

here's a few pics @ the BBQ:

a few more pictures:-

a word of warning also. All cars were on Club permit plates......

Apparently, there have been cases where the Police note down a cars plates then a few days later, or if they see you another day, ask to see your log book, to check you filled it in previously.

we spoke about this on Sunday morn and as we agreed thore that abuse the club permit system are the ones who will live in fear of getting caught doing the wrong thing, so provided we all play by the rules there's no issue.
and if someone is done, then more the bloody fool them and they deserve all they get in my book.
cheers.

On behalf of the Prince Skyline GT Register, i would like to thank the Bellett Car Club of Victoria for hosting us and putting on a very fine BBQ.

It was a great social outing with many stories shared. A fabulous day was had by all. :D

Cheers again to everyone for the day. We will look forward to many more.

Jason
