Hello out there, you fans of Belletts and those that have them and those that don't!!

This coming weekend is one of the LARGEST gathering of Classic cars in NSW, THE SHANNONS CLASSIC EASTERN CREEK. (Now known as "Sydney Motorsport Park)
For those that turn up and don't have a car, I know some of the Guys will have a vacant seat for the parade laps!! :o INTERESTED :?:
You will never know if you don't go!!! :(
The ICCA has 8 cars taking part this year, so get youself and the kids together, or yourself alone, only $15-00 to enter if you are not in a Bellett and have a great day. Great food available, a great time for all!! :D
ENJOY THE DAY :!:

Gotta fly the Florian flag!
Should be even better than last year - 'cause I didn't have Mary there then.
See ya there,
Cheers, Matt.

Frost?..........Thats not a frost!................

...........She hails from Suzu River, up by Fujiama's side,
Where the frosts are twice as cold and twice as tough.
Where a car's back wheels strike tyresmoke with each jab of the right foot,
The car that starts first time is good enough..................

 Rave on. Time to go to a car show.......

Um, yep, that would be 2 thoooooouuusand!
It was late ......and I was....excited still...........

Mrflibbles, Aunty Mary is big enough to share the love of more than one fella ;)

Speaking of big, she had quite a few admirers on the day, including one who explained to another who wasn't familiar with the Florian that this was "Isuzu's big, luxury saloon car". :)

A real nice bloke walked up & said "An Isuzu Florian! I haven't seen a Florian since I sold mine."
He went on to explain that he'd worked at New Guinea Motors, and had bought a '71 model. When he moved to Aus, he brought it with him, he liked it so much. But they wouldn't register it, 'cause 71s weren't sold here, so he represented it as a '69. Then it was OK.
He kept it for quite a few years, but eventually sold it to a bloke who liked it so much he took it with him when he moved to New Zealand. See - plenty of love to share! 8-)

And quite a few other walks down memory lane. Allan stayed & talked for a long while until it was time for our parade laps. So I offered him a ride and he looked like this... :D
Rod (50 Bells) and his dad rocked up just in time to grab the back seat, so 4 up we followed the others out. We kept up with the 117, GTs and sedans, but wooo the bodyroll!! Those are
L O N G corners! I suggested that their presence made Mary sit "nice & flat", so I wonder what they thought she was normally like? Pulling 70 mph down the straight a couple of lengths off Gary's back bumper seemed REAL fast, (but I'd been doing that up the Hume the day before alongside B-doubles). Fun for all! :D

Cheers, Matt.

HEY Matt, why don't you send your photo of Aunt Mary in the frost for next years Bellett Calendar, I think that is a great shot!! :o If the resolution is high enough it could be slightly edited to make car more into the centre of the photo ;)

It was really good to see Jack made it, he had a doubt when he called me, his Grandson could not make it and with his knee replacement it may have been difficult, another great Bellett enthusiast!! :)
Catch Ya.

Yeah, might be good enough. I'll send it in for selection, though 2 years in a row might be hogging! Hopefully Vic will do another one?

Cheers, Matt.
