What Glenn said Davo.
Get a plastic fan off a Gemini. Bolts straight on.
Is what I use on all my cars.

Davo, when you find a fan, I think only second hand available these days, you will need to remove the shroud, after fitting the plastic fan the shroud can be re installed, like Brett said they bolt straight on with the same holes, an easy conversion. Try one of your local wreckers.
If I can find a new one, I would buy it, still looking!!!

pretty sure all are the same dave. Mind you, finding a Gemini is getting harder and harder! Might be something else out there also. perhaps Isuzu Jackaroo etc ??

Gemini fans.
Any rear wheel drive 1975 - 1984 TX - TG Gemini will have one. Front wheel drive RB Gemini is different.
Rodeo an Jackaroo is different again, but will just fit with some fiddling. Best off to use the more common Gemini one.

Brett,
I thought that would be the situation, all rear wheel drive Gemini's, just wasn't dead set sure!
Hope you are all good, very Merry Xmas to you and yours!!

Rodeo and Jackaroo seem more common in wreckers on-line, eg Jolly Roger here in Vic. gemini's are very thin on the ground.

Dave there is a guy up in QLD who advertises on eBay and has a lot of Gemini's wrecking. You may know him already. Not sure if he still advertises but he had dozens of cars.

Hey Davo

The Fan should go on without the spacer

Then check that the fan clears the belt and the radiator

Cheers Flying

Bolt the Gemini fan straight onto the Bellett pulley.
Everything clears fine.

Post subject:  Re: fan blades

Brett, I would have thought he would still need the spacer or would need to use shorter bolts, or is the gemini fan thicker? Keeping the fan closer to the radiator draws more air through too, I reckon. I have 2 different thickness spacers in my parts bin, though I don't know where the thinner ones came from.
Cheers, Matt.
