ok the dohc threw me. The 5 speed will not bolt to your twin cam :( if that is your plan. Or do you want it for your Gemini.

think you would need a rodeo box or maybe Gemini diesel one?

and different tailshaft to suit the box as well

I have a rodeo box in my Gemini its single cam . If a rodeo box is needed for the twin cam . Why doesn't the 5 speed that's with the single cam that's for sale fit the twin cam . Gricey.

Rodeo with the c series diesel has the starter on the left, same as bellett & dohc isuzu. Diesel gemini has the starter on the right same as petrol gemini.

I think you can swap a Rodeo box housing with a Gemini one to get a 5 speed for a DOHC.

Gricey

I'm still confused......
o you want a Gemini engine with 5 speed
or a DOHC with 5 speed
or a Gemini 5 speed box only
or a DOHC 5 speed box only ??

think Gricey wants a 5 speed that will bolt up to his Twin Cam???

claws here in SA has a Twin Cam in his '65 sedan and it has a Rodeo 5 speed mated to it.
thanks for the clarification, Redzone.
i knew it was Rodeo related but good to know what its a C series and that its diesel

In a nut shell Gricey, you need a box with the starter motor on the passenger side. :D

You could cut the bell housing from a bellett and shut it to a 5 speed. Or the 5 sp you bought up for me has had the starter hole put in. The mickey mouse box as it has 2 mickey mouse ears.

you can also cut and shut the gemini box to move the starter if you are a pretty good alloy welder, or know somebody

That's what is was trying to say down the middle of the bell housing with a couple of cross ribs or strength and prevent cracking.

you would have to remove the guts of the box and welder would need to pre-heat the whole shebang then weld it.
