Supposed it all comes down completness and condition.
Relativly complete but parts only probably around $500.
Relativly complete but a lot of work to get on the road, around $1000
Fairly low on rust and a runner maybe up to $1500
Being long wheel base and pretty rare if the cab is too far gone
the chassis rails etc will be worth keeping for another cab
down the track.
Well that my two cents worth and probably way off but hey :-)

Nice cab to put on a Diesel 4 x 4 LUV chassis. (I know about the different widths etc. but I reckon it would still be fairly straight forward and would end up with a lifted , wider track , tough looking Wasp and all Isuzu as well ! )

Ideas , ideas , ideas ............

So how many long wheel base Wasps really did come into the country ?
I am sure there is a thread on here that suggests only three. I now know of three still in existence, but none of them are the one I owned in the early nineties. So there was at least four LWB, so how many Wasps really did come in and in what configurations ?

I love these ideas...... what about a busted GT body (rear ended):- chop off the rear, add on the Wasp cabin rear section (with a little chopping of top for GT roof line) and we have a Wasp GT..... and a bit more leg room too !

67GT as far as I know 122 Wasp were bought into Australia.
49 were full body style sides the rest tray tops, as for long wheel base I'm not sure
but wouldnt be many.
Hey Kerry with the extra length hows about a twin cab!!

There was a twin cab Wasp, I have a photo somewhere. It was VERY ugly though. The rear cabin pillar looked like a sedan one inverted.

One thing I did ask when this appeared on Facebook was, does this Wasp have the original engine, is it on the original chassis? Probably more work than worth the effort, but stranger things have been done...would it be possible to fit an LWB KB20 (or whatever) chassis to a Wasp cab?

The second image is the Japanese text from the first one, as translated by a language teacher.

 I seen.it, but I don't belieeeeeve it!
Well, yes I do. The Japanese built so many things that amaze back then, any variation that may sell. I hope they did, and I hope some remain somewhere. Because the desirability is HUGE!
I would of course love one, that rear window treatment is great, with more style than the yawny vertical items usually offered. I have always liked the 105 Anglias. That window never gets wet! Negates the need for a rear window wiper, so practical! AND it would have to be on a lengthened chassis.
Special!

Cheers, Matt.
