Wow guys!
That prelim version is of similar quality to Gran Turismo4

But .... What happened to the PR90 concept? I was looking forward to seeing
A white or silver PR 90 Bellett like what was originally raced in Japan, with the early grille like my avatar ;)

Cheers, Lewis

That was a fun ride! I could feel myself leaning into the corners as the car went round! Loved the "feel" of the ff when you came of the track.
for me that is a winner, lthough i really do suck at driving games!
started watching it on the computer, and had to change to the tv as it feels alot better on the big screen!

thanks. :)
Big screen really does help the immersion. :)

Project sort of crash coursed few times... while usually it takes from few weeks to 6-8 months to make a car to this game, this one has taken now 5 years and we had quite lot of it ready as the 3D has been converted from another game and as this has taken so long, we needed to get something out.

However, nothing prevents continuing with the plan making TC-65 class PR90 later on. :)

There's quite lot of options in this version to customize different paint jobs (I got carried away a bit after learning how to work with 3D tools and realizing that there's huge amount of semifinalized material.) used 3 weeks to make all parts options, which at least in theory, you can make 1800 different 3D part combinations for different paint jobs. :)

And oh yes, I still want to make Rolie as well. :)

baby steps closer to finnish.

This time testing in U.S. at the Birningham Club track. As the fastest variation (imitating the factory race cars) screams up to 9100 rpm, it has rpm tach replaced with one going high enough. The roll cage still needs to be fixed. (it should be continuing, not cutting like that.)

It has been a very very very long project, but Now it is looking more promising than ever. This project really got some speed after two modding teams combined their efforts.
We even got brand new sounds (my personal opinion is that they are awesome, especially if you think that the guy who made them has never seen Bellett live.)

Yeah, WOW. Not being a gamer myself and seeing my son driftin' it on Xbox, this surley tops the cake. I share your exitements Sticko, Flibbs, Dave, Lewis and the long list continues down under. It must be Xmas...to all the contributions to B.net across the world that have made this replication possible.

Lovin' the ride, tank slappers and all (how hard they go!!)

The twin cam note.........little monsters 8-) .

Genius.

You will also be pleased to know that these PR90 race cars are included:

1966 Arthur Treloar #50
1966 Arthur Treloar #12 (Driver C. Bond)
Tom Amos #24

I know Bondy is controversial - but I felt I need to include him to make up the drivers. I guess I could also add Barry Fergusson

heh, I think Bondy should exactly to be included. Racer should never deny their past. :)

I just did posting to development team forum that virtualbellett and I have been waiting for some years... It's the final check post, which includes the release version for last checks that everything is right. :)

Hoping to post some videos here later on.

Mate, u need to add Bellett sedans to the game. Surely it couldn't be too hard to do as the basic layout of both the GT and sedan are the same.
GT's are great, but sedans had just as big a part in racing history as them, and are what us 21st century Bellett racers use today.
There's plenty of examples around to get inspiration from, both from back in the 60's and 70's as well as today.

PR20 might happen somewhere in the future, but until that moment, the PR80GT is the closest thing to sedan in game. (as we all of course know here,) It's PR90 with 1500cc (with double carbs) Sedan mechanicals inside. Unfortunately I am bit busy few next days, but I will do some video about it as soon as I can. :)

...and by the way, I have decided to ran this year 10 months long online racing series with the Works GTR. Anyone fancy hearing race reports? Season starts from Melbourne with 25 laps race in next Wednesday. :)

Yes please - would love to see how the Bellett fairs against the masses.

Is there any chance of porting this to Assetto Corsa ?

Cheers

Yes - but it's not in the immediate plans

I want to buy the tear drop in Penrith (ebay) - I'm in Japan now though :(
(but the parents live in the lower mountains - always thought about doing a PR20 AppJ (NB) racer)
