OK folks, it's time to start sending in your pics for the 2014 calendar. I already have a couple, so to make sure your's are in the running you should send them as soon as you can. Remember that I need high resolution shots (at least 5 megapixels) to reproduce at the A4 size - this is not a problm with most digital cameras but some phone pics are just not large enough.

All contributions welcome - I like to have a range of cars and to give the chance to people whose cars have not made it in the past to see them in full glorious colour.

Please email your contributions to me at vichughes165@gmail.com Some details of the car and owner are helpful too for when I'm making up the captions.

Cheers, Vic

Well I've searched and searched and can't find any reference to Bellett in a calendar for this year, so it seems as tho it didn't happen... I know I was on the correct path tho coz I found the Hillman one that's been done for 2014.
Pretty disappointing to be honest coz I know a lot of us really enjoy them.

Sorry guys, but I wasn't able to do this for a couple of reasons.

The first is that my wife had to have unexpected major surgery at short notice - meaning we spent some weeks away from home while she was in hospital in Sydney. Since her release from hospital she has required constant care and I'm afraid many other things were put aside as lower priority. Life has only got back to normal within the last week - I have only been able to return to work yesterday. The surgery happened just after I had called for photos for the Bellett one. I had managed to finish the Hillman one by that time, which explains why it got done.

Compounding this was the fact that I only received about 5 pics after my initial call. Normally I would have posted further messages, but under the circumstances above I was pre-occupied with other things (and also away from home - without my computer with the Photoshop software that I need to prepare the pics for publishing.

I'm sorry to have let you down, but really had no choice under the circumstances. If there is interest for next year I'm happy to produce another one.

Cheers, Vic

G'day Vic.
Sounds like you've had a rough trot there of late mate!
All is good, as we were just wondering if the calendar had been done, but obviously circumstances prevented that which is perfectly understandable.
As you wrote, priorities were with your wife, and I hope she is now ok, recovering well, and will be back to good health again soon.
Take care.

Thanks Vic, and I do hope that life is back on track for you now, and wish your wife a speedy recovery, we do appreciate what you do for us and am sure we can live without a calander for the next year. I am sure we will keen for 2015.

Total bummer about no calendar but also about your wife!

Onwards and upwards for the duration of 2014 and we better make sure we send some pics thru on the first call at the end of the year!

Thanks everyone. Rosalie has continued to improve and she is now nearly back to normal

BTW, I'm happy to receive pics at any time of year - I set up a folder on the computer each year for next years calendar and just store them as I receive them

Cheers, Vic

That's good to hear; massive health issues are NEVER fun (although nitrous oxide helps).

Roll on 2015 calendar! I will have to send you like 12 pics between now and then and dominate!

Cheers,

Dave
