Yeah Gerry, fitted and looks sweet. Your a legend.

I have fitted new brake shoes but still waiting for radiator to get back from repair  still got heaps of time........
Was going to give the rear bearings a few pumps of grease as they have been making some not so pleasant noises for some time now but it seems that Donkey is a little older and longer in the tooth than most others and it turns out that his rear end is non-greasable :?
Not to worry, I'll just pretend that the noise is coming from the radio that I fitted under the dash, that doesn't actually work but I thought it looked the part.....as you do.

Thats how Donkey and I roll (squeak squeak squeak GRIND squeak) and besides, the view is much better if you live life on the edge

I've got a pretty full day on friday working out at my brothers place so not likely to have time to bring donkey up so he'll have to squeak and moan all the way south  and I'll most likely crash at his place for the night, as tempting as it is to start the trip a day earlier and head up to your place to start from there.
I might however need to take you up on the offer on the radiator if they don't give me mine back tomorrow. They swore black and blue I'd have it back today but it never happened.
I'll give you a call tomorrow and if need be I'll head up after I finish work for the day (working in Bardon atm so will be bit of a hike with traffic and all) Hope to have a short workday tomorrow but will see how it goes, will let you know.

Well the radiator is finally back and fitted so I took Donkey for a burl around the block a few times in the rain, damn we had fun.
Brakes feel much better too but I may need to give them a good bleed to get full peddle.
I did get a little impatient while waiting for the radiator to get back so I had a little play with Donkey's rear springs.....
PLAY meaning CUT + I removed his rear bumper because it was too shiny and it was just dead weight, never did get around to fitting his 2 and a half foot long gear shifter though.

Can't wait for Saturday morning.............bring on the dots!

All, be aware and careful, I have been told by our Agent in Bega there are a lot of road works between Bega and Merimbula.
Yesterday they had laid a lot of lime on the roads, THEN IT RAINED, you can imagine the mess cars got into passing over them yesterday. :x
