Our local highway they lower the speed limit instead of repairing it last week they dropped a section to 80km. If you need a copper you will find at least 2 there.
It's the smart state they don't spend money on roads lower the speed limit and book the $hit out of anyone that moves. Much better for our premier making money and not spending an. This is why they got there $57000 a year pay rise. Last Monday I was in a truck for 9 hours and 5 radars that I seen . It's ok to do what speed you like in the right lane on a 4 lane highway and turn left off a highway across 3 lanes of traffic as it is hard to enforce because someone might have to get out of the police car.
QLD TRANSPORT BUILDING BETTER RRR BANK ACCOUNTS :!:
I HAVE HAD MY RANT.

If it's any consolation, the same thinking seems to apply down here also. Those that do those tricks on the road seemingly never get caught. No wonder in car video is becoming so popular. At least you then have proof if something happens although getting a copper to look at it might be difficult.

I'm starting to get worried about the Adelaide turnout.

There are plenty of Queenslanders coming; you guys cannot be faulted. Same goes for Rod from Tassie!

The South Aussies are looking lackluster tho if Duane is out. I got a call from Leigh today (Betty Bellett) and he's out.

Hopefully between myself, Ross, Ant, Paul, Bruno, Josh, Paul (again, on the Saturday) and Chris we'll have some kind of contingent!

Haven't heard from the other SA guys. Was going to ring them, but only have so many hours in the day!

Cheers Neil, we know you weren't gonna make it, but your spirit continues from a few months ago when you were down here. :)

Well, the up side is the freeway up to Hahndorf (minus any toll) will be permitted at 80 kph for the B2B this year. And the tunnels will be a blast. Belletts sound so 8-) :geek: 8-) on the pedal through there.

Talk to Greg, he has spare entry.

If you guys keep buying Florians we might be able to have 2 nationals per year. Bellett nats and Florian nats.

Hi all,

Just popped my head up to wish you all the best for the Nationals. Have a great time, and safe trips for all. Wonderful that the Bellett is a feature marque in the Bay to Birdwood (I was there in 2005, guest of one my Hillman owning friends).

Don't forget to take pics for the 2014 Bellett calendar :D

Cheers, Vic

As much as I LOVE BLASTING UP THE FREEWAY (so satisifying at 100-110km/h uphill; give the car a proper workout!) I'll be happy if they reduce the speed limit to 80km/h for the run. At least this way the Wasp will keep up!

Cheers,

Dave

Thanks Vic, I tell ya, I'm excited! Aunty Mary has had all those niggling little jobs done over the last week, only a polish to go!
I'm buying a new camera tomorrow, so there should be plenty of calendar pics!

Glenn, the Sport should be going! Are you hooking up the trailer??
If you need a ride for the B2B, Gary or I can offer a spare seat.

Cheers, Matt.

afraid have no tow car (ute) anymore. I have to do some suspension work on the Sport also. It rides way too hard in front end and one suspension bush is shot. To be changed over with the spare car asap.
Coming in family hatchback. I might take you up on the offer of a ride for the B2B, depends on the other halfs plans. Her mum is coming with us to visit relatives not seen for 15+ years.

I am still confused where the show and shine will be...... please let me know the address of the caravan park venue, also the location of the winery we are going to ? Or is the show and shine at a winery ???????

we will be in Glenelg for the 3 nights. Fri to Sunday.

You've got it Glenn, show'n'shine at Angroves.

No worries about not bringing the Sport, its the people that matter most. I guess I'll just have to wait until Tassie. You are going to Tassie??!
Best  : Take the 'other halves' to the rellies, then come along. They don't have to listen to endless car talk, and you can join in endless car talk! Win-win.
Try & talk them into B2B though, they can't fail to enjoy that!

Cheers, Matt.

OK, show and shine is at Angoves. Nothing is at the Caravan park ?
Hate to be a pain but do you need to pay to attend ? I will bring own lunch anyway. I didn't pay for anything up front as not sure what we would be doing, time wise. I did buy a hat though!
BUT, what time should I be at the winery and where is it. There are at least two of them in a google search. I think McLaren Vale......

Sorry guy's  Looks like something got missed in the wash. I'm sure Dave won't mind me putting the flag out there, he's been putting so much effort into everything and most of us too.

As i understand it: Saturday morning meet at the Marion Holiday Park, time is also unclear to me, but should be a 10:30 meet for an 11:00 am departure en mass to Angove's, Chalk Hill, Maclaren Vale. Nats Lunch there and return to MHP for evening, friends, fun food and frivolitties....... :D
