The feeling is mutual big brother.
Will have to camp in the van park with you and Cheryl as I'm pulling the passenger seat out and making a makeshift bed in Donkey for the trip so he will be my accommodation for the cruise.
It's gonna be awesome!

If anyone cares to join us at any stage feel to. I hope to pre book and prepay accommodation in the coming days as it will be school holidays. Also we will be traveling with my son and this blows our budget out a little as they charge $30 on average for the third bed. I will post where I book in with the contact details so others can arrange accommodation to suit there own budget.
FEEL FREE TO ADJUST ITENERY IF IT DOES NOT WORK I AM OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS. IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. Sounds like a plan Greg! We are doing the ultra-cheap trip, the reason being we are planning on taking Long Service leave to go to Tassie for a month next year. Tracy is work involved this year, so it looks like Rhys & I wll make the trip & travel with Gary Carter. We will leave on Thursday 26th and return Wednesday 2nd sharing cheap cabins. Sorry we won't be able to travel with you, but are already saving for Tassie. For your Canberra stopover, you know you are all welcome here for whatever kind of stop you like - Barbie - lunch - dinner - brekkie. We can sleep 6 in beds, after that we start putting tents up! The War Museum is great, Tower is worth a visit, but I haven't been to the Mint (sad admission!) but is is said to be good too. Sounds like another epic trip! Cheers, Matt.

OK Over the weekend I sent emails asking for quotes on our accommodation  I have the first reply back  in which is quite reasonable. As said earlier this year is school holidays and I want to prepay some of my accommodation. I intend to book and pay mine tomorrow its up to other parties to arrange your own. 2nd accommodation booking this is a motel for the campers as it is twice the price for a cabin there is a big 4 in town.
We are staying at lazy river motor inn 03 50322123 single $74 double $84 if you book mention you are with the classic Japanese car club. you can book on line.

Russ and I are booked into the 3 places on the 3 nights.
At this stage, will be leaving Sunday morning with him.
We'll have our own "catchup" Dot-to-dot. Further discussions with Russ to be held to
determine our first night. Maybe Dubbo.

Are we leaving on the 18th now? I thought it was 19th. 18th is better It's closer! I was leaving 18th anyway to stay at your place for next morning departure so either way I'm raring to go at a moments notice  and Donkey is chomping at the bit too
