maybe i should just screw some rego plates onto the yellow racer and bring that down... that'd do the trick. |

The cjcc is planning a few weeks in Tassie doing day trips but this is nothing to do with the nationals. It's our way of dragging the nats out to a holiday. This is a club event unlike the nationals. |

Glenn that's something to ask Steve. And what the actual dates of the Nats next year would be helpful too. |

PR91 wrote: maybe i should just screw some rego plates onto the yellow racer and bring that down... that'd do the trick. Mine has number plates. In qld we don't need to front the car after it was registered so I registered the car before we modified it. I don't drive it anywhere but up our road for testing. I figure I will anyway so if it is registered would be a better option if mr plod finds me. I think a RT would cause issues maybe but then again they do not worry about donkey The other problem would be kidneys or lack of on arrival The day mr plod sees it will be the day it will need a machinery this would not be good |

we don't need annual checks or anything down here after it hits the road either. but have u had a good look at my race car...? i don't think plates would make any difference, i'd still be grabbed in the first 3 miles! |

Don't worry Stevie we'll be cruising at cruise speed for the nationals but the following 2 weeks we plan to be there for will be flat out fangin' speed Ross, it has a pepped up gemini motor and 4 speed box in it. Goes very well once the revs are up a little Attachment: Geoff's Bellett eng.jpg [ 108.56 KiB | Viewed 13114 times ] |

Aunty Mary is like a boat on the ocean - so smooooth. Cornering prowess matters not, but spine cosseting? Thats the ticket! But in a GT, now thats different. Flat through the twisties is choice - just pick a day me ole back ain't acting up! No doubt about you people, planning already! For the record, we think we'll make it a month-long hol too. But what to bring? Mary has been to 3 Nats now, matching Doris. Might be someone else's turn, but who? Shrek? Hmmm, long way to Melbourne........ Ahh, we got a year, anything can happen! Cheers, Matt. |

Going back a bit, Greg wrote: "you can't fang with broom broom Bruno with a fart in a pickle bottle" Now I've composed myself a little, do you need reminding i was blown off at the lights by Paul in Dave's FLORIAN !! Sticko, I didn't know Percy existed . Looks like a cross between PR91's race car and Ross's Deluxe. He has a mighty fine stance B.B.B. |
