Putting up a question, is there any objection to my promoting the Bellett Nationals here in Toowoomba in the local Media and if OK, any highlights.

The last Saturday of the month here sees a big get together of cars at the local K-Mart, usually around 150-200 of all kinds, only problem is that the Dinner will be the same night, the Nando's (as it is known) runs from 6pm to 8pm roughly, but no one is committed to being there the whole time, maybe we can work something out.

I realise I don't have a Bellett any longer, but I am excited about the Nationals coming to Toowoomba and wish to see it as a very successful event.

Just let me know how I can assist.

Ted.

Its amazing how much stuff there is to do to prepare for a week away!

But, the trip is begun! PR91 and his Dad are in Boorowa visiting Gary Carter. They are heading north in the morning, a croozy trip to somewhere in the New England. Bembokabellettbloke and his young lady are heading up through the upper hunter to visit family on the way. Gricey and Cheryl are heading here tomorrow and staying the night, then we will head north with them on Wednesday. Our destination is Armidale, where we will all get together. Then we can have a nice easy day into Toowoomba on Thursday. Brother Greg will prbably join us at Warwick for the last little jaunt.

Sorry that this plan is late in coming, but things change and we need to be flexible. Unfortunately Dennis and Marg wont be able to attend this year as Marg is too unwell. This changed our plan to go through Mudgee, heading the more direct way through Wellington to save time. We have a day less than I originally planned too.

Main thing is we all get together for one of the absolute highlights of my year.
Lets know if you can jump in anywhere,
cheers, Matt.

Howdy Ted,
I don't have time details, so my plan is to rock up to the accommodation first and we will probably get a pack with all the details. This is what usually happens. We only have to come from Armidale so should arrive pretty early in the arvo.
It will be great to see you again mate.
Cheers, Matt.

WOO HOO!!!

Donkey and I hit the road in 15mins (that's about how long it takes me to pack for a road trip) despite the fact that we only have a 2 1/2hr drive ahead of us.

Donkey and I might cruise back down to Warwick on Thursday and join you guys for the last little leg of your trip too :P will see how the day pans out. Will give ya's a call Thursday morning to let ya know if I'll be there and where.... or not.

SO EXCITEMENT!!!

Saw Rollie this morning as we were heading out to the showgrounds, big waves both ways, I think the Falcon was remembered from Coona, my guess is Rollie is the first to arrive and the first Bellett I have seen in Toowoomba since mine left.

Ted & Michael.

Michael was the one who spotted Rollie first.

2 GT'S lived in Toowoomba in the late 80s a gt was at highfields until 5 years back as well as a sedan until last year. A wasp was out a drayton way a few years back as well. Toowoomba has a little bellett history. It was donkey you saw today Ted he was no 4 to arrive at the nats Sunday the first one rolled into town.

Yep that was me and Donkey you saw Ted.
I spotted your yellow ford raccoon a mile off.
Donkey's not the first Bellett in town for the nationals and pretty sure I won't be the last either :D

My apologies, Donkey I meant, haven't been near Goodwood, so definitely 'NOT' Rollie!

Been reading about the red racer lately and had the wrong one, thought I might see some of you at the showgrounds tomorrow then.

Ted.

Thanks for that, but late change of plans (due to forgetting about Jaxon's dental appointment) and will catch you all at the motel sometime. Will still go to Warwick via Springfield, Amberley, Aratula, Cunningham's Cap anyway but going the road to Felton on the way to Toowoomba. Catch you all then.
