2017 Nationals Honour Roll
BEST OVERALL: Graham Hadley (Bellett sedan, recently restored)

I don't know if I should take "recently restored" as an insult or a compliment
It is as original as they come.

Chloe & I had a great time meeting everyone over the weekend.
I was worried Chloe would be bored, but she had a ball & can't wait to see everyone again.
I can't believe how welcoming everyone was & we are already thinking about next year.

This club really is like a family & you should all be really proud of it.
Thanks so much to everyone that organised the weekend too, Fantastic job from all the food to the Elvis entertainment.

Thanks again,
Graham

Apologies Graham! I knew I'd slip up somewhere on this list. Of course, that's why you won!
REALLY happy that you felt so welcome.... because you certainly WERE. We were so fortunate to have so many great new people come along, and with such fantastic cars too.

2018 Nationals - Congratulations to all the winners. Apologies to George - I didn't get a pic of you with your car - maybe someone else did?
Fabulous event in Echuca, Victoria - thankyou Steve & Peggy and your helpers. Saturday night venue particularly memorable. Couldn't do anything about the damp car show - it was a beautiful location especially when the sun did finally come out. Great company - as always. Will be posting "albums" on Isuzu Car Club of Australia Facebook page - there's just a panorama on the cover at the moment - click on that photo and you can scroll side to side to see a bit more. Everyone who took photos.... please send them to Steve & Peggy - they didn't have much time for photography!

A big Thank you from Tracy and I as well. The Bellett and Isuzu Nationals have become one of the most special times of my year. I look forward to this weekend like a kid looks forward to Christmas. In fact, like I look forward to Christmas. I love being with family, and you people have become another family, always with great conversations and hugs, and a lot of fun. There is the bonus of swapping spares and driving places while watching other Isuzus on the road. Thats pretty rare.
The event was well run, uncomplicated and well attended. Thank you for stepping up and making it all happen when there was no other volunteers, I can't imagine a year without Bellett Nationals.
See you all in 2019, I hope I can do a good job of organising. Enquiries are under way.
Thanks, Matt. :D :D :D

Farmer said it all, Another great trip for Chloe & I with our new family. It just gets better & better as we get to know more people through the adventures.
A few hiccups on the return leg of the Sunday cruise & we were tripping over people helping us, Chloe was so overwhelmed she feinted from all the excitement.
Thanks again to all that helped. It was a little sad to leave but we too are looking forward to next year & having more kms on the Bellett to improve reliability.

Well done Steve & Peggy, Brilliant from start to finish.
Chloe & I look forward to seeing everyone again next year or before

Thanks for that Monn, just a little correction - Most original sedan should read, "Most original Bellett", so sedans and GTs.

Many people will know that I am always amazed by the beautiful work done in restoring a car, and respect the dedication and investment.
But I just love an original survivor. Like the magazine I have a long term subscription to says, "They're only original once!"
So I decided to have a most original class. Because like, I had the opportunity.
The judge I asked to assess the cars is a long term Bellett owner who knows them as well as anyone, and he said it wasn't as easy as might be thought. But he just kept coming back to Graham's car. It really is a museum worthy example.

Once home I will post photos of the cars, but for now, we are still into it! Nats are not finished!
Thanks, Matt.

The Hadley family were definitely stars of the show. Most original Bellett, runner up in the Bellett sedan category, Chloe entertained us with songs & guitar and they were among the runners in the 'families at Nationals' category - definitely a growing presence.

Spirit of the Nationals was hotly contested. SO contested that Matt had to consult widely to ensure fairness. I believe the decision was unanimous. Congratulations & well done Gary Smith although your doctors perhaps may not agree!

Lewis Bolton collected the highly coveted People's Choice award as well as the costume award for "Best Japanese Man". The Samurai theme was popular but Lewis definitely carried it off... see pics on Facebook.
