Another photo of the McLaren Bellett has surfaced....this time it's a press release of the car just after it had arrived at John Sprinzel's Lancaster Mews workshop in readiness for prepping for the track.
Here's the text that was released with the shot....
"Mar. 03, 1965 - Sleek - Fast..And Made In Japan New Saloon For Racing At Goodwood: The new 1500 c.c. Isusu Bellet saloon was to be seen in London yesterday - being prepared for the Easter Monday Motor Racing at Goodwood. It will be the first ''works entered' Japanese saloon to race in England, According to British Rally Champion John Sprinzel who has been testing it - the car is capable of 100 m.p.h. Photo Shows The new Isuzu Bellet saloon with the team mascot Miss Mie Okazaki - in London yesterday."
