I had the opportunity to use fast64s in car cam after his group n car had a engine failure  We could not see the piston but you could see the dents in the sump where it tried to come out :? .
Glenn was offered the use of my car to see if he could blow it up as well  after all he own's the engine in my car anyway. It was a lot of fun and a little more of a challange to have someone with years of experience to run against in the same car i am usually around 2-3 seconds behind him and only being new to the sport i was happy with this. But in the same car we were under a second apart. I have to factor he was getting used to the car but my bellett is a clone of his in most ways.

Might hafta lift ya sights ol mate! The bid is the evidence. (Don't forget, you gotta beat the crusher price!)
The broth was in the area & had a look - almost zero rust, complete but for ashtray & toolkit :!:, chrome pretty good, good compression...... Swap a door & guard & it's better than it looks.
But he's not the buyer.
Anybody we know?

Cheers, Matt

Gt Orphanage any chance of a couple of pics of your reverse lock out. I will normally let any body have a drive of my car at an event but some times regret it when I hear them go to grab reverse into a corner (and may be I may have done it my self a couple of times  ).

Gav it's easy to make.
take the gear stick out 2 bolts then the next lot 4 bolts of the box, now the 2 bolt flange weld a plate to the side of the flange that sits over the detent for reverse, now take the big nut of the end on the detent case the spring will want to come out let it then the pin you can see down the hole push the pin in hard and mark it drill a hole so if you put a rod in the hole the pin cant come back this will stop the stick coming back. The round rod thickness mine are around 4mm so a mmhole was drilled put the spring and bolt back in place.
Put the rod down the hole it will hit the spring only in a couple of mm put a flat washer over the rod and let it sit on the alloy housing and tack it to the rod, all done. reassemble the 4 bolt to the gearbox and the stick a hole needs to be drilled inline with the hole in the housing now put a compression spring over the rod between the plate and washer now put he stick back in.
i will put photo's on in a little while this sounds hard  but it's 1 hrs to do it.

That is very very clever. It is not some thing I had ever thought about doing until you mentioned it. When I pull the heater out and get the rubber matt out of the front I will do it. Cheers
