As mentioned in another thread, I was at my local club's, and Yass' big day out. We had 267 cars entered this year - huge for Yass. A really nice day out, and I came away with a trophy for 'Most original car'.
I left a note on the windscreen as I was serving morning teas for a fundraiser, suggesting to phone me if you know of any early Isuzus or need any parts.
So a fella did. I returned his call and he told me the whereabouts of something that may interest me. You know how sometimes it sounds good, but when you get there its not what you expected? Well thats why they invented Googke maps, and streetview.
Looking from above, there was definately a ute where he said. Is it a Datsun? Or an old Hiluxe? A Mazda?
So I dropped a pin and.......

Whaddyareckon??

I met the owner and her Hubby, nice friendly people. Had a nice talk, and found plenty of like mindedness. I hope to get to know them better. Nice day. :D

Cheers, Matt.

I know, right? Its so clean and original. I reckon I would just clean it up and register it as it is.
The current owner wants to hang onto it for the time being, and thats fine, she loves it. But I will stay in touch. ;)

Thanks for the responses, nice to see you are watching. I was very excited, you don't see them like this very often.
Cheers, Matt.

Matt, always good to keep in contact with the owners as it usually give two options.
Talking about it gets the owners interested in getting it going! OR
They see you passion and decide to move it on to someone they know will take care of it!

Keep those ears and eyes open!

Josh
