Hi people,

Because I just got a Florian, I'm still a bit excited about Florians.

This one is from Yahoo Japan. Being a 1973-vintage, it sports a Chevy LUV-style grille and bonnet, but still sports the same tail lights as my 1969 version.

The interior looks pretty original - bench seat and column-shift for a start, plus the added bonus of a period, under-dash aircon!

Not sure about the c-pillar at the rear though. The Florian normally has a '6th window', which is a bit of glass in the c-pillar, behind the rear door. This on appears to have been filled in. I was looking for pictures of similarly aged Florians but didn't find anything, yet it seems weird for such a stock looking car to have a significant body mod like that.

Oh well, still looks pretty good!

The filled pillar makes it look a bit nicer, only my opinion.
The dumping helps give it a cleaner look.

i like the dumpage happening there, but it looks a bit funky without the extra window. Paint the rims red and add whitewalls to it and then its ready to cruise!

Maybe a mod set of wheels and some phatt's to set off the dumpage. Also add a decent exhaust tube.

Like the colour. Those mirrors look like genuine bellett ones ?

Nice find, Dave. I think I prefer the 'with window' and rectangularish lights though. Suppose it's just what I'm used to.
Happy Florianing!
Matt.
