Hi Waldo
Have you found a gasket set for it? I would like a head gasket for mine i have a miss on no 2 tomorrow i a going to do a compresion test i have done a dry one and seemed to be ok,i just redesigned my carby set up,checked for vacume leaks ect.
If the head comes off and i cant get a head gasket or vrs i will get a couple made plus inlet and exhaust.
I may get a couple of manifold gaskets made also for the g161 if anyone needs one?

no i dont have a gasket set at all yet, i think im going to get my agent jsut to get me one from isuzu japan it will be pricey but it will be genuine probably the most reliable way..the headgaskets have such a small section in between cylidners 1+2 and between 3+4 that would always be a concern. And since this motor is going to be a realy high compression motor its going to need a good quality head gasket
