Albert Park lake Vic. Shannons put on an all car show for two years in 97 & 98 which were very popular. Many hundreds of cars. Sadly, that was it.

The ex Peter GTR engined sedan was at another event.

Note sure how you remove pics.

I think we attended this event a couple of times before the AOMC excluded Japanese cars for some reason.

yep, only weeks after Barry did the ground up resto on in 1992.

the AOMC days were when we could "sneek" into the "British and European Day" without anybody really worrying.
they already did an "American Day", so they then did a "Pacific Rim Day" to include the Japanese and Aussie stuff that was left out and we were advised to go to that one instead....
it only happened once, because all the Holden and Ford idiots could do was whinge about being parked together....   so the AOMC gave up. fair enuf too in my book. they now do a very successful "Australian Day" tho.
they did only one "Japanese Day", but didn't advertise it, and it flopped.... until they realised the massive interest in old-skool Jap cars these days, and have now set up another one for next Sunday (26/2) in Dandenong.

Steve, what ever happened to that almost complete white late model sedan I gave to you years ago?

Hi Steve, 99% you got it from me. I removed the radiator and late tail lights i think, otherwise a pretty good late sedan.

Greyish colour.

So, would the Florian be Aunty Mary? Looks a bit bluer in the pics, but they are old photos.
I can't make out the plate.

Thanks for showing,
Cheers, Matt.
