As I worked at Hardie Ferodo at the time, I had Hardie Ferodo 1000 stickers, Bellett Car Club of NSW stickers and that was about it, the car was not sponsored by anyone.

Teditor: thanks for the info. :)

So, here's the digital Flying Squirrel still in works. :) What was the hood color and do you want flying squirrel to be digitally reborn as PR90 or GT-R? If the latter, then there's choice between wide arched JDM factory works racer or normal non-arched variant. :) (in picture it is now GT-R with factory works racer bodystyle.)

Absolutely sensational, if you could have seen my face when this came, I think you would be very pleased, I certainly am.

As the Squirrel was actually a sedan, I think doing it as the GT-R is probably the best tribute to the car and George Steeden's painting ability as well as Dave Waldon's continuing on with the car.

A very special mention to Geoff Pearce as well, Geoff was basically my young apprentice and it was his name that graced the left hand front door as Pit Crew.

The Hood (Bonnet) was Green and Gold, I will track down a photo and post it on here if that is OK.

You have really captured the essence of the Screamin' Squirrel and I I am indepted to you for the honour, but as I will repeat, George Steeden and Dave Waldon were big factors in the cars success, All I did was build, tune and steer.

How you managed to capture the side painting and wheels is a credit to your ability, I will also see what I can come up with for the Boot Picture ((Name), any one else have photos to assist please.

Yours forever in appreciation,
Ted (Teditor) Freeman.

You've got me! give me a gentle reminder, if you mean at Greystanes, I am now in sunny downtown Toowoomba, QLD.

Duh!!! after looking at the photo I posted, I now see what you are referring to!

Something I do have and carry all the time in my 1978 XC GXL Falcon is a set of genuine Isuzu Wheel chocks in their original storage bag.

Teditor: credits for the digital screaming squirrel paint job goes to hkhoy. He has done great job making the paint job. :) And thanks for the pictures, I will pass the link to this thread to him so that I he can make the paint job absolutely correct.

And yes, We will make it as factory race car GTR. (That will give the car quite boost as factory race cars in early 70's had as much power as the legendary GTX prototype. ) Unfortunately we do not have possibility to make 3D model for sedan, so we are consentrating making PR90 and GTR as good as possible.

Here's the latest pictures from hkhoy, this time with PR90 / 1600GT bodywork and with fixed hood and rear hatch has now the squirrel logo. Notice authentic helmet. :)

...I again really need to start working with physics / handling for the 1600GT. :)

That must be me driving. If it was Ted, he'd be leaning on the door.

In reality I only ever wore a white Open Face helmet, the photo in the garage actually was taken by me with Dave (Poppy) Waldon sitting in the Squirrel.

The GT version rendering of the Squirrel may look strange with an Open Face helmet in it, and I don't feel this little discrepancy is of major importance, after all, Dave did race the car after I transferred ownership to him, I guess it is really a bit of both of us.

Again I ask, what eventually happened to the car and are there more photos around (there must be surely?).

As per my last post, can anyone enlighten me as to what happened to the car please, does it still exist, gone to Bellett Heaven?
