Hello all, Gary Carter found this in a box of articles. Hope it comes out O.K. - it's a scan of a photocopy of a clipping. And sometimes when you make a copy of a copy you get a funny movie with Michael Keeton..........

I like this. 800 mile thrash through P-NG & finish 1-2-3! THAT'S why Belletts deserve their reputation.
Tuff as.
Cheers, Matt.

We have a 69 gt waiting on the orphanage assbly line for a resto, this car was a ex rally car from PNG. I bought in around 1974 in Brisbane, and it still had the glove lid complete with helda installed. The car in in very good condition with very little rust, and has been in the shed for the past 15 or so years, is very tempting at times to steal a part or two off it, but want to keep it complete.
Its day will come

Wonder if it's one of those cars? Very possible!
Favourite bit of report - Morris 1500 finished 11th after being plagued with mechanical trouble....
Must have got wet!
Cheers, Matt.

I remember it also, bellett65, only when it happened, (shh don't need to tell you how old I am!! )
Neville Hannah would most likely be able to tell you all about that win, unfortunately Neville will not be at Coona this year, Neville only told ne yesterday he has another committment.
Neville used to rally a GT in PNG!

Unfortunately Gary only has the clipping, not the whole page, so undated. Someone will ask Neville, when we see him.
Cheers, Matt.
