All,

After much delays (mostly on my part) we now have a great document for all to view on the Isuzu Hillman story.

This piece has been well researched and is a great read for the Bellett enthusiast, Rootes group enthusiasts and generally anyone with an interest in automotive history. Everyone knows the history of Prince, when the government told Nissan to purchase them but very few people know of the Rootes connection to Isuzu.

Please find attached the complete document.

Regards,

Bellett.net Admins

Well this has been out there a few weeks now and 35 people have downloaded it. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback - comments, questions etc. What do you think of my idea about the origin of the Bellel name :D

Now that everyone here and in the Hillman group has had a chance to read it for free, I was thinking of approaching one of the classic car magazines to see if they would like to publish it. It would give both marques a bit of free publicity, and fill some gaps in the knowledge of the general public. Any ideas on that? A few years ago I wrote a history of Rootes cars that raced at Bathurst and had it published in Australian Classic Car.
