this set cost $830.00 in stainless steel ~ first time set up cost etc..... price is dependant on number of sets ordered...... the more we order the cheaper they will be... |

Yeah but nah...bit too 'hot rod' for me, I like mild steel better. I guess you could always go the extra mile and have them ceramic coated in an appropriate colour. |

He might be able to do them in steel and get them coated. I think coating runs about $300. On the stainless ones, are there any 'dags' of weld coming through on the inside of the pipes ? TIG welding tends to blow through slag to the inside unless the welding of pipes is done with them full of welding gas. I built a s/s exhaust for my hotrod at home and tacked all the joins using a TIG then had a guy final weld them for me. They have special plugs and fittings that fit into the pipe ends to run the welding gas through them, while TIG welding the joins. |
