Davo,
As far as my memory is concerned no tear drop tail light shape models had a 5 bearing motor, the first car with the 5 bearing motor was very late 1966 to early 1967, the model with the aluminium grille.
If it has a 5 bearing motor I would say it has had an engine change!
I had the last model with a 3 bearing motor, a 1966 1/2, or September 1966, it was the first Bellett I bought new. GREAT MOTOR CAR. 8-)
No doubt you will sort it all out as you get more familiar with the car, a great model and it is great you are so happy with your purchase, nothing else matters. :D
ENJOY!!
Dave M.

Check out the sump, if it is a 2 piece sump it has had an engine change over?? ;)
I noticed in your photo the alloy rocker cover, maybe the alloy rocker cover fits the 3 bearing?? someone else may know :?: , I am not sure

Gerry,
What about the Tina Turner wig and mini skirt!!! LOL!! 8-)

Great score Davo  Who needs Xmas's when they all come at once :o :o . GT steering wheel looks tops when you get used to seeing it in the sedan. Will there be fluffy dice to go with the seat covers :?:  Those look like early Sigma 14" mags. I had a friend with a Sigma and those mags back in the early 90's. Put them on my GT for a laugh, but wanted to leave them on 'cause they looked soooo cool !!

Enjoy, Dude

Cheers, B.

ok, the list...
ashtray. 99% of them are bent these days...
glovebox arm. not hard to find.
bonnet badge. easy.
lenses. not too bad but you'll have to look at a few to get a good set.
back seat. should be easy to get but if you're only changing the upper half remember there were trim style changes throughout the Belletts life so we'll need a pic of the style u need to make a match.
door trim. put a pic on here of the style you need coz there were a few different ones.
deluxe badges. honestly don't hold your breath... really hard to find. and remember to do it properly you need the 2 shields for the front guards AND the little half shield for the bootlid that is almost never seen...
deluxe surrounds and glass. not too bad but make sure u get ALL the glass, including the back window... yes they were tinted too and a car with tinted sides and a clear rear looks silly!
deluxe B pillar. if you find surrounds and glass you'll find this too.
hubcap. maybe but for god sake DON'T DRIVE WITH THEM ON! they have a habit off flying off and never being seen again...
exhaust. take it to a good exhaust shop and just get a whole new one done by the experts. old ones just aren't worth the stuffing around.
handbrake boot. if it's damaged underneath where the rachet is, then that's normal. i put an aftermarket leather one in my GT when i resto'd it and it works fine.
hope this helps.
