Here is a 117 coupe. VERY rusty but apprently engine starts .... 1800cc DOHC with SU style carbies. Would make a nice transplant into a Bellett if the price was right (and engine was ok !)

Can be organised if you like ;)

The above 117 is located in Tsu City (Mie Prefecture). Glenn - about 6 hours from where your Bellett's and the container currently are in Narita - domestic transport costs alone may make something like this not worth the effort....although i could organise it in a shared container from Osaka...

But.....would be easier and a lot cheaper to source an engine only (if that is what you are after)..... (Glenn - sent you an email with a sample) ;)

Another one for sale at 150,000Yen.....a little tidier it seems? But Auto!!!

a long way.....

your car is better in that it has 2000cc engine but efi. I prefer the 1800 with carbs. [EFI, been there, done that.]

unless the car i found was obtained much much cheaper then it sounds like the internal transport costs would kill the idea. Then of course, it's condition is unknown so potentially more $'s.

Crikey, A/C would be so cool (pardon the pun) for the next project Bellett.
Pity not flush enough for to take the thought any further :(
Nice to look though.

Cheers
Rob
