After it's 1st run and a little drive confirmed the diff issue. pinion bearing shagged so before the hoist I gave him a bubble bath and a light cut and polish. It needs another polish and some areas need a little more rubbing. But the diff is more important at this stage.

Looks good , another quality Qld. Isuzu. (the increase in the number of quality 1960's Isuzu being restored and or preserved in Australia over the last 6 or so years is amazing ....I do not think it could be matched by any other country .............Japan maybe ?

You are a lucky man Greg, that is definitely the same model I had, mine purchased September 1969.
I panicked and sold it for a Datsun 1600 when the purchase was announced by GMH of 1/3 of Isuzu and the imported Bellett and Florian was to cease, the worst thing I have ever done. :(

Good luck to you, keep it standard and look after it, she is a beauty!! :o
Dave.

Greg mate, I like it. I like it a lot. That stone guard is uuuug-leeee, but yeah, period. Weather shield, wiper aids, its ole bloke spec, but soo nice. You have a unique car, the only other one I know of is the unresto that surfaced last year. Thats rare!
Great job on the quick tidy up, and yeah, amazing how many little variations between engine aplications.

Thanks for showing, and please never sell it to anyone but me!!
Cheers, Matt.

Don't start saving yet Matt  I don't sell anything except Rolie and even then I got cold feet ;) Nah I just collect and build bigger sheds. My small shed has a slab poured and due for modification it will fit 3 gt's 3 sedans 2 wasps and 1 florian. Currently it stores 3gt's and 1 wasp.

Thank you Mr Grice and bellett net. Flori's Diff was F..... rrrrm not much good. Gricey answered a call for help and the conversation went I can send you a new diff centre :!: phew :D But I need da'da'da I said I can send that for you at the same time another belletter was in desperate need for a part I was not able to help with and Gricey saved him too.
Flori got a new exhaust yesterday and the seats were restuffed as the foam had failed they were refitted and it is now on full rego and just completed a 50km road trip with a little carby issue as the needle and seat stick now and then. Other than that she ran sweet.
Thanks again Gricey and without the forum the world is a small place when you need parts.
Flori is still butt ugly

Excellent news mate, and good onya Gricey for coming to the rescue, as you do.
I don't get the ugly comment though. :? I must have different eyes, I've liked them since I first saw them.
But I like some unusual cars. I like ones that don't look like everything else. I don't like plain cars, like ht holdens. :|

Ugly? Thats the Ssangyong stavic (ugh).
And the new oddysey, and barina spark, and Jeep patriot, and those pig dog ugly Rolls royces.(erk!)

Pretty? Thats Veloster, Toyota 86, Murano, Maxima, ......even Skoda Octavia! And anything japanese before1973. ;)
Cheers, Matt.

I like the way Aunty Mary leans. Last time I was at Eastern Creek, we all went out for the two parade laps. I took Rod 50 bells and his Dad, and another Florian owner from back in the day. Following Gary Carter's 117, which just sits flat, I was keen to stay with him. They're long corners, and she leeeeeeeeeaned and swaaaaaaayed, and I reckon only just stayed upright, so I says to them, "Wow, she sits nice n flat with all you fellas in here!" ;)
Yeah, its like a matress, but thats part of the experience![i]

Now if I found a TS, that would be different! Dumpt to the weeds!

Cheers, Matt.

Flori has a rear sway bar fitted the week after it was new. Warwick traded his 64 bellett on flori and was  at the way it handled. He said it made a ton of difference. I found flori to drive quite nice floaty yes, but it went where I wanted it to go and quite cruisey. I think if you hooked into a unsuspecting corner a little quick  :o  might end up like this :(
