It is my old Teardrop for sure, I recognise lots of little things on it. sold it just over a year ago to a dealer at Gosford for under $3000 .It’s been tidied up a bit with retrimmed seats and dash and some panels repainted.

I didn’t actually see the one being restored. I think it was down the back corner of the panel shop and I only went into the office. I only noticed it when I pullled into the car park. The shop owner said the rear panel was going to be cut off it to use.

Saw this sad looking GT Bellett body shell at a panel beaters today. Apparently came from Yass area ( one of Matt Farmers old ones ?)
It’s being to restore another GT.

If it does not fit it is a hellava good start...……….that has got to be better than nothing (how many of them are there out there ?)…......you must have "eagle eyes.."
As soon as I saw them I remembered those old pommy cars having a similar looking headlight trim. Used to be a quite a few around ...

Morris 1800 look similar, maybe they can be modified to fit?

I got back from a family holiday in Peru a couple of weeks ago and spotted this red Teardrop driving through the traffic in Lima!
After rushing for Carla's I phone to snap a pic before it got away, the driver pulled into a parking spot across the road.

I would try Ebay and list it there .Teardrops are rare these days, and $800 is a bargain.
I just sold a Teardrop on Ebay to someone who knew nothing about them but liked the look.
He wasn't a forum member as far as I know.
