Hello it's Matthew,the fellow with the wasp ute.
I have taken off the head and after a couple of attempts found a workshop that is prepared to repaired it.
The head has burnt out exhaust valves,and the workshop is having trouble finding what to use to replace these.

Thanks for all the help of ideas, the head has finally camb off. I took it in to the machanic to day to get reconditioned. It will be back in one week

tried useing the compression to lift it up it didint work. But just playing around has freed the head from the block, but it is still not wanting to slide up and over the two studs. My neighbour has sujested using heat. Heat up the area of the stud on the head.Is that a good idea or will it crack ...
