Re: GT Alfin drums
Really? No one with a GT needs a spare set of drums more than the recycling depot does?

Re: Linkage for Carbie
Hello Jeff, I've just noticed your post, hope I'm not too late. I have a linkage from pedal to carbie, but it's a '68 and they use bulkhead brackets with rubber grommets in them which don't need oiling as distinct from the '67 linkage which has brackets with bushes which do. I've added some pictures ...

MGA 1957 t0 1960 (I think) for the indicator lights. Should be readily available online from a UK classic car specialist.

Thanks A.J. I wouldn't like to see them disappear either.
Not to worry, though, Flying is coming to pick them up on Saturday so they won't be lost to the Bellett universe..

Bellett Panels and Subframes
I have some Bellett panels which I no longer have space for. They are:
A Boot lid (with rubber seal)
2 rear doors
1 front door
A LH mudguard. (the RH one is part of the Violet Crumble along with a bonnet and the other door)
A complete front suspension subframe
A complete rear subframe (Diff carrier ...

Thanks Dave,
I'm really happy you could use the heater. If you found some seals that's a bonus, Thanks again.

Re: 67 Sedan Gearbox
Also I've just noticed that I've put this under "Parts Interchangeability" instead of "Parts for Sale". Should pay more attention. I'll see if Dave can shift it to the right heading 'cos I don't know how.

Re: 67 Sedan Gearbox
All I know about the 14111-272 manifold is that it is Isuzu and fits a G series aluminium head (I believe with square inlets and round exhausts but that's not certain) . If you can use it and have some way of getting it from SA to your place, it's yours.

Re: Parts ?
No worries, Glenn,
It's had a few sources, some of them odd, so I've never been quite sure whether it's useful or not (the stuff other than the BCCV ones, I mean)

Re: Parts ?
You could also download the spreadsheet in excel form from "My Parts Spreadsheet" further down the list of post topics. That way you can add your own parts equivalents and delete the ones that aren't useful.

I don't know if anyone may be interested in this (attached) but it seems a lot of people have been touched by Motor Neuron Disease in one way or another. I thought some of you might be interested in this.

Re: Li'l Darlin'
Thanks Redzone. There was a great deal of water (more than likely from just combustion product) at the tailpipe though and water in two and three bores. However the Rislone seems to have kicked in (finally) and they are dry now. Also, the water at the tailpipe is back to normal levels at idle. As ...

Re: Li'l Darlin'
By the way, Stickman, what sort of constabulary do you have there? Surely it's an offense for that walloper to compare a Bellett to a donkey (or a horse, even a stallion). Man has no sense of etiquette.

Re: Li'l Darlin'
We could call Brett, "Bjorn", GT. As in the old Steppenwolf song "Bjorn to be Wild".
The Rislone treatment didn't work first time around. I'm going to leave it in there and run her again a few times to see if the heat will seal it up.
The whole thing is weird. The block and head are fine as far as ...
