Re: TO BE OR NOT TO BE..................... A Bellett GT-R?

Thanks alot JT191, I really appreciate your points and opinion. You commented on one think that really has had me stumped. Where are all the bloody twin cam motors coming from to create all these replicas!
As it stands I have only come across two or three GT's for sale in Japan compared to more than ...

TO BE OR NOT TO BE..................... A Bellett GT-R?

Hey guys. I'm gonna attach a few links of different cars in Japan and I would love your feedback and opinions. Some cars look more genuine than others but there is usally something that just doesn't look right. So, over to the Isuzu Guru's!

m This car looks good, but has white behind engine?

Awesome! Love the fast back, looks so much like a Mazda!, first pic I have seen of one. Wouldn't you love to take a walk down one of those streets and had your pick!

Re: '69 Sedan/Auto FS in Brisbane

Hey Bris Bellett, Just wondering how long ago you got that car? As soon as you mentioned it came from Launceston and I saw the photos I was convinced I had seriously looked at this car. It sat in a guys front yard for ages for sale and I remember the sign saying it had a 1600 motor fitted, but ...

Re: Japanese devotee!

Thanks alot for the information PR91. Amazing how the cars just slowly disappear, sad too! Did any 1800 GT's arrive in Aus, I see there is one for sale in Japan. I won't dangle anymore wasp carrotts if people are going to reply with equally smart and teasing information! Ha ha.

Re: Isuzu enthusiest Toyota conversion, lesson one.

Thanks for your comments guys. Interior is completely different to a basic sedan, I can't really think of anything the same. The 1600S gets reclining bucket seats, seat belts standard, tunnel race style gauges, floor shift, auto tune radio, chrome trimmings etc. Very "sports" feeling to the cars ...

Re: PR91W Bellett GTR

People are probably gonna hate me for re opening this can of worms but it made great reading! Did any sort of decision surface from all this educated discussion? Did someone front with some vin number photos, or did people agree to disagree? As someone that is looking for a GT and seriously ...

Re: Japanese devotee!

Thanks for the welcome guys. I am lucky enough to have a corona ute in the shed, although a major restoration job. Anything is possible with time and money though isn't it? Unfortunately i am plauged by a lack of both! To be honest some people may say I have a Corona obsession with a total of 10 in ...

Japanese devotee!

Hi Guys; Obviously i'm new to your forum and am very impressed with the content and layout. I don't as yet have a Bellett in my shed--(very nearly bought a 1500 sedan earlier in the year) but am so far a collector of '60S shovelnose sports Coronas. My Dad had a '67 RT40 1600S from new that we still ...

Bellett GT or GTR Wanted!

Hi Guys, Just stumbled across your forum and decided that I would join up. I realise GT's are probably hard to come across but they can't be any harder to find than an RT55 1600 GT Corona and i'm lucky enough to have one of them in my shed. I'm in Tassie but happy to travel for the right car ...
