Hope to get there this year, but no guarantees as my Missus is still crook (that won't be changing anytime soon) and the kids are still young.
Good luck Steve and Peggy; you guys have done it before and having done a couple myself with some help from my SA mates, I know it's a tough gig!

Thanks for keeping us updated; good to hear IUA are still keen to recognise the obscure heritage of their marque!

Re: Finally got one
I don't think they were ever sold in LHD.
In fact, they seem to be fairly rare outside of Japan, although in Japan they are still pretty common from a collector car point of view!
Probably helps that they made heaps of them, especially once they started mass-producing them (early ones were hand ...

Re: Hello from Sweden
Hi,
We had a user join a while ago called "Belletts In Sweden". If you can find his posts, it gives some detail as to the history of Belletts in Sweden!
He has a couple of them and I think his father was the distributor for them. Not many were sold, as I understand.

Hmm, only drama is these guys are in South Africa!
I received a package from South Africa back in January. It had been posted in July 2017!!!
I had the card of a guy who does them locally, although admittedly it's the 'inferior acrylic' system. However, I think he's now retired!!!

Re: My SA Teardrop
A little bit of info on the Corolla wheels on the ex-Ross Bellett.
They were on my grandfather's car, a yellow KE70 Corolla which he bought new in 1983.
A native of Northmead in Sydney, when he gave up driving in 1993, the car was sent to us in SA. My mum drove it around first, then my sister, who ...

Bedford Isuzu Elf for sale in SA
Hi guys,
A fella I recently met is parting with his Bedford Isuzu Elf.
It's an amazing little truck. Runs G161 OHV motor, four-speed column shift. Drives like new; I know because I've driven it!
Guy is asking $8k ono. He'll take a reasonable offer; just wants to cover what it's cost him to buy a ...

Re: Dave's lacklustre signature updates
Cheers guys appreciate the kind words.
Test tomorrow (13/12/17) for Sarah with results on Friday so we'll see how we go.
Belletts not doing ANYTHING at the moment, but I may have the motor for my GTR earlier than I expected (which was never, because of said things detailed above).
Plan will be to ...

Awesome work Glenn.
My Bellett indicators stopped staying clicked down on one car; now I just hold that side down when I'm turning right!
I got used to it!

Ah that makes sense.
Yes we have someone who joined called Belletts In Sweden who said that there were not many sold; his father owned the dealership and they now own two of the three that remain, or something like that.

Dave's lacklustre signature updates
Hey guys,
I haven't spent as much time as I would have liked on Bellett.net in recent months; I say this every time I get back on there, I have to admit!
My wife Sarah continues to fight breast cancer, with her latest chemo regime finishing this coming Friday, which is great.

Hey Justin,
Welcome on board! I'm glad that car finally sold; it was sitting around for ages and clearly wasn't being used.
Unless you've got mad fabrication skillz, I would leave the engine conversion out of it; every second Gemini left gets chopped up for an LS conversion that never eventuates ...

Re: My 1966 Bellett 1500 sedan
Wow I've only just seen this post.
I love how these cars keep appearing in the most random of countries!
Do you know where the car came from? Was it sold new in Estonia or surrounds, or has it been imported from place where they were known to sell like Sweden or Denmark?
Body looks good!
Cheers ...

Bummer I missed this one. Although I already have four and I don't use them (currently), so maybe not that great an idea after all!
We don't really see many Belletts rolling on Deluxe caps anymore! Or ever, really!

Hey guys,
Sorry I've not been on here much; life has been busy!
Glad to see some guys are still on it.
Nice find, Gary and Matt! Is that the same cab as Gary's Elf, but with a lighter/shorter/smaller chassis?
Cheers!
