Great find.....well worth keeping and rejuvenating/restoring. Simple and easy to work on.
I would suggest that you contact the Bellett Club in Finland. Great people and a wealth of Bellett knowledge.
Please keep as informed of your progress. More pics. would be nice also.
Lots of information here if you Search this Forum and ask questions.......

Yea I have never even searched for a Bellett because I really thought they didn't exist in Sweden but I have wanted one for a long time...
All of a sudden one appeared in a japanese car group on facebook and not so far away from where I'm spending my summer vacation  sooo my vacation got really interesting really fast
I'm absolutely gonna keep it! and get it to running/working condition with whatever parts and things I can find, make or get renovated and later someday in the distant future :D try to get it through the swedish car inspection...
When it passes that and is legal for roaduse again it will probably get a complete teardown for some serious renovation.
Ok yea I've seen that there is quite a bit more Belletts and other old japanese cars in Finland compared to Sweden so I will start looking there for parts and stuff.
This forum has already been super helpful and lots of motivating, inspiring pics of cool cars :)

You are so lucky as the body looks to be in reasonable condition and the mechanicals are simple.

All the pics are taken at my brothers place where I "dumped" it for now since I'm spending my vacation there and since it was kind of far to drive it all the way home to Kiruna (~900km north from where we picked it up and ~200km above the arctic circle :D )
Yea some cleaning is necessary
Things done/checked so far:
1. Engine turns freely.
2. Starter and starter relay works.
3a. Oil pump works (oil is getting up to the valvetrain)
3b. Discovered that I need to replace atleast 2 pushrods.
3c. Checked that all the valves move freely.
4. Most of the lights work, blinker relay is missing though..
5. Ignition stuff cleaned and gets spark all the way to the plugs.
6. Carb holds fuel and looks to be complete, valves and float moves freely.
7. Tires that aren't from the seventies and is about to pop at any second is now on so I can move it easily.
8. I have no keys but someone already took apart the ignition switch so I can turn it and bump the starter without keys.
9. Emptied the ancient engine oil and cleaned the filter housing from debris and well.. a lot of mud.. and put a new filter in.
10. Changed the cut in half/broken oil pressure switch with a new one.
11. All the doors and windows open and close really nice, almost like new.
12. The rust situation is so far really good, might even pass the "far away in the future" inspection without any welding.
13. Ordered a few pushrods so I might here it roar before I leave it for a week of watching "Streetweek" dragracing with friends from the passenger seat of a turboed 1958 Chevy Impala :D

What an amazing find! So original, and it looks in really good condition. If I were to find one this good, I would keep it as original as possible, just doing the mechanical repairs and get driving. I hope you enjoy the process, and I agree with Kerry, they are very logically built and easy to work on.
Dick in Holland is also a great source of spares, you can find him on here in the members list.
We may be able to send some things from Australia, though there are similar hard to get items here too.
Please show us more as you are able.
Have fun,
Cheers, Matt?

More pics.
Finally got my custom length pushrods that I ordered! fits perfectly and doesn't rub anywhere, nice! 8-) had to use some "Tecnosil" black sealant on the very very old, crispy and broken valve cover gasket since I didn't have a new one laying around :D
Did also get most of the interior electrics working, gauges, lights, warning lights and switches.
Annnnd... Got the motor running aswell! Sounds awsome with a straight pipe :D until the carb bowl runs dry... since I haven't rigged up a fuel system yet
Maybe it needs some nice new reg.plates someday ;)

If anyone wants to hear the engine then search for 'eliazzon' or 'isuzubellett' on instagram.
