Hello Isuzu gurus!
Here's my problem. I tried to fit 4ZE1 valves to a 4ZD1 head only to find that the 4ZE1 valves are 2 mm short. I have already machined the valve seats and ports of my spare 4ZD1 head to fit the 4ZE1 valve diameters. All I need now is a set of valves that have the same lenght as the 4ZD1 valves, and the same diameter as the 4ZE1 valves.
Are all 4ZD1 valves the same? I once found an article from the net that said that the 4ZD1 valves from an Isuzu Impulse have the same diameter than the valves from a 4ZE1 head if I remember right. Is this correct? Even the dealers on ebay sell different valve sets for an Impulse 4ZD1 engine than the pick-up 4ZD1 engine I have in my Bellett. Maybe the difference is the valve diameter?
I hope I got all the 4Zs and Es correct...
