Auction site in Japan

Post by oz_toffa »

Hi guys
I was led to an Auction site in Japan that i think was a link on this forum. They listed a lot of cars and just had 2 or 3 pics of each car. Wide range of late and early vehicles with an estimate of selling price and a start price.
Does it ring a bell with anyone. Didnt bookmark it of course!!

Appreciate your help.

Cheers

Toffa

Thanks for the feedback guys but it was like an online Auction. They gave an approx value of the car and you registered on the site and then put up a bit. there were also people live in japan also bidding. Remember it being like a plain brick garage and the photos were taken against a painted white or cream wall. one of those things you bookmark but then cant fidn the computer that you used to save the bookmark. AAARRGHH!!

I remember a Japanese wholesale auction explanation page something like this:
http://www.japaneseautoauctions.com/about-auctions

The description of the car photo with the white painted floor and white painted wall behind the car sounds like the Japanese wholesale auction photos.
Somewhere there is an explanation of how to read the grade sheet with the blemishes marked and rated...
http://www.japaneseautoauctions.com/inspection-sheets

I don't think this is the same site I tracked down before, probably via some Canadian importer who went out of business years ago anyway.
These computers are so good at loosing information, I remember bookmarking that page when I found it years ago...
