Hi Guys, I have just had a call from the machine shop that has had my engine for the last two months with bad news. He says my pistons are shot, and he cant find any listings to suit the motor, also cant find bearings to suit. It is a G150. Can anyone tell me what pistons and bearings I may be able to use ? I am open to increasing the capacity. Or does anyone have any parts available. Thanks

Most people fit Gemini 1600 pistons, rods, rings, bearings to a GT I think there is a thread here that the 1500 will easily take an over bore to "1600cc" also. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1188&hilit=boreedited:- from what I know, cam bearings are impossible to find so you need to re-use the old ones a std size set of piston rings here on ebay Item number: 251126276651 glenn

1500 will take gem pistons you can buy new ones but you will need gem rods as they are not interchangable. rings and bearings are gemini 1600.

my guess is you will need to find second hand rods.
I think any good parts place should be able to give you numbers for the bearings. Even the engine reco place should know that i would think or have books etc.

get a G161 gemini engine complete and rat it for all the parts. they are wortth bugger all and then u know u've got matched sets of pistons and rods. bearings are readily available over the counter at 99% of parts places.
