Wanted, 2 row crank pulley to suit a G180 SOHC engine.

I'm toying with the idea of fitting air con to my Sport. I know it's been done before as an option perhaps so the pulleys must exist.

Maybe someone has a SOHC engine kicking around with the 2 row pulley?

Hello Glenn, I checked the Sport motor, it only has a single row pulley, so I hope Craig has one for you.
Cheers, Matt.

Craig has an old motor and the pulley was just right, 2 rows.

I'm still working out how to do it all...... by s/h bits from a wreckers to adapt to the Bellett of buy one of the 'universal' kits that cost about $1500

At least universal is new. Older units would need retrofitting and seals.
It's a universal one in Gary's blue sedan, and it works great.
Cheers, Matt.

Good point there Matt.
Long time since i saw A/C in a Bellett and only in pictures. I assume under the glovebox. The kits i have looked at on line are usually a pretty tight fit in a Bellett by their measurements.

Glenn, in Gary's it's fitted in place of the original heater facia, so as not to take up knee room. But in the sport with its proper heater console, you probably wouldn't want to do that. I wonder if it could be mounted on top of the transmission tunnel?
I'm not sure how George set up the heater though. I was there last week, but was more interested in going for a run than examining the details. But that would be fun too!
I could ask Gary to take some photos.
Cheers, Matt.

Hi Matt, I looked at the space behind the Sport heater controls, and just no space. You can get these kits as heater/cooler though which would mean removing the existing heater and maybe it would fit in there but that would be a last resort. From what I can see these kits only recirculate the air. Not ideal.
They 'might' fit in the parcel shelf area but really would have to have one to try before ideally.
