Well, we're back from Goodwood, and Rolie turned a few heads. And most importantly, the right people made the right noises, we now keep our fingers crossed for an official entry. But he did look good.
And so did the opposition.... Big old Galaxy Few more to follow, if you're interested.

That was a big effort there PB i am pleased you gave rolie a new lease of life, after sitting around waiting all them years. It was a tight schedule you had and a credit to not only you but the team that helped this happen. I see gazzweld on the forum so i will assume that you got more history.
STRUTH i have not heard that word for years like stick another shrimp on the barbie never heard that used other than advertising tv has a lot to answer for .
You told me once your partner handles your finances man she did a brilliant job .

Thanks for all your kind words guys.....Polara James did this for a bit of fun, this is Mac's car parked in the Goodwood collecting area in 1965. And this is Rolie parked in the same place in 2011. Hmmm spooky

Dude, when one of our NZ mates (Alistair) bought a 1970 Bellett, stripped it, worked it, restored it and did it all in about 3 months, I thought that was a top effort, but you may have trumped him!!!!

Damn it looks good and even got some professional shots of it as well!? If it hits Retro Cars UK magazine, let us know as they usually sell that here in the newsagecies.

That reproduction shot of the Bruce McLaren car is just ridiculously awesome as well. Top effort!!!!

Now just don't do what Alistair did; sell it and disappear (both him and the car, it seems) from the site forever!

Gee Pom and Co. This effort on Rolie will go down in Bellett history. (for a second time). I'm sure you'll get the nod from the officials. Many a Beers deserved to get this far so quickly.
