Yes I am absolutely going to remove welch plugs for an acid bath (it has been sitting in the back of my shed for 10 years I think - I remember doing the same for the motor in Stinky now.

It is not a rant when it is advice CQ - all good. I am very open to advice - that is why I post these things so Bellett.net can give me heads up!! I thank you all!


Thanks Dave for the info on the Cam Bearings - will let you know how I go.

Somewhere in the old memory bank I recall that 1200 Suzuki Motor cycle bearings were being modified to fit. :roll: :?:

I think you will find that Suzuki mod was twin cam.

I don't need any now, but the info could help soembody out maybe. I wonder if the SOHC and DOHC lay shaft uses the same bearings.... i would imagine so.

last time I checked acl no longer had stock and were not making any :?: Maybe a group buy I would get a couple more sets.

thatmight be the way to go, a group buy or maybe a Club purchase as these will always be a problem otherwise

I have already checked with acl about getting them remade and they will do them but need to order a min of 300 sets very expensive I'll have a look through my spares as I should have a few spare sets that I won't need. Peter.

The ones I have are nason 3c6127n made in Taiwan box says for g130/150/161/180/200 ? Maybe they might be of help :?:
