VERY nice Gary.
I too love the early round head light models.

Re: My 117 Coupe....
Well Guys the history of this one goes like this;
First brought Australia by an Airline pilot, purchased by Tom Amos and taken to the original Nationals in Wagga. Then bought from Tom by Barry Hughan, once it blew the head gasket it was left in his yard for a number of years. After that number of years bought from Barry by Rob Dole in the Southern Highlands.
The rest as it is said "is now history", well done Gaz at last, after Tom, it has found a home where it will be looked after and restored to its original glory except for the installation of a twin cam motor!!
It is/was a bloody nice car and it still has that appeal to ANY Isuzu enthusiast!
I for one will be pleased to see it back on the road again after so long!!
Do a great Job on it Gaz!
Some years ago I tried to buy it, however it was not for sale then!!

Re: My 117 Coupe....
Congratulations Gary and Monica;
I knew this car well and hope to see it back on the road soon.
Gladly, there is a goldmine of parts to go with your 117; Barry and Christina collected every part that could be collected to rebuild that car back, way back when....
Keep in mind that that engine (the 1.8L SOHC) may not be the most desirable but is is pretty rare too. It actually is a DOHC bottom end with the unique Isuzu head.
Looking forward to seeing the strip-down and rebuild.
Good luck and best Regards
Denny

Denny, good to see you on here, I knew there must be more 117's & Florians about.
Any chance of showing us your cars? -Love those rare Isuzus!
And yeah, I reckon I'm as excited as my broth about this find!
Cheers, Matt.
