I never looked in to bringing one in myself. It's none of our business what you paid for your car

and in your case bringing in two in a container would not be a good guide

maybe prince could give a estimate

to bring one in [pending on where in japan

] If i did bring one in it would be a fastback

Lizzie has approved the order but common sense say's no

i could do with another car

SORRY, I had you confused with the PR95 brought in (although from NZ). Yes, i got a discount for two cars but still the costs would be way over $2k for one car, even if roll-on/off for transport. Import monster have a fairly good guide for costs but prince_skyline could give a better idea. Internal transport costs in Japan obviously depend on the cars location also. Then there is the de-reg and customs costs also to add on before it even hits the boat. It's all the 'little' costs that add up very fast indeed.
It seems the fastback would be a very popular import, if one could be found at reasonable cost.

Hey Jason
Has that 117 come up again? I know most think the later models are ugly but I like them
Keep them coming though, I've enjoyed this thread!
Cheers

Dunno what interest there is around here for 117's but there is, on average around 5 117's through the auction houses each month.
Some bargains to be had with these too....
