Hey Greg,
I thought you were going to Japan next month to buy your fastback :o
How keen are you to buy another aussie Bellett before going overseas. You will run out of shed space. PM me

Lewis i have 2 fastbacks to look at and i am in a little trouble as we speak maybe Chris and i could share a bellett shed  I keep being told if i buy the ebay 1 i better be able to fund Lizzies fast back
I only put a bid on it to see where the reserve was but i had a good think about it and if i won it  i can live with it hence the .01 cent Oz i was looking for the reserve.
If anyone is real serious about it :?: i will leave it alone i got the impression no one was going to bid. If not i may go another 500.01 and see if it is for sale :?:

who ever's shed it ended up in, it would sure need some exercise from time to time.

and it appears to be a reasonable runner even if it needs some work here and there.

good luck chasing up the fastback, GT orph. hope you can secure the car you want. think I would clear out my whole collection for a fastback

let me know if you need to fill up a container ;) ;)

Good luck to whoever can afford this one. I too am amazed how such original gems can still crop up. It is 45 years! Thats some dedicated care. Whoever wins it will get something special, maybe needing some little jobs, but saving so much time over a resto type (like mine).
I'd love it, but yeah, probably about 10 times what I can afford.

I have come across something I can afford, which is exciting. I'll show & tell once it's landed. :D :D ;)

I neglected to save the Gold coast car to Myebay, did it sell?? Had it been closer I may have went for it. Just as well or I would have had no doh for the above! Loved that perfect interior though!

Cheers, Matt.

Yeah Matt, the interior of that auto is pretty tidy . It did sell, see Davo's post. It will need a lot of work to the
Body and the engine though. Window rubbers are like petrified wood.
Guys, about the GT, the bid is still a few k short of the reserve after talking yesterday to the
current owner. I have been given a hesitant OK to bid on it up to what I think
think this gem is worth. :| It has got original paint in good condition, rebuilt engine only done 100km, some spares etc.
It needs to come into the Bellett circle of care.

Vindicates the purchase price for my GT so far. :D I reckon it should go for $15k, which would be a reasonable price for it off eBay...I'm sure that's the reserve. Of course, there could always be a rogue millionaire out there!

up up up she goes....

whats a full engine reco worth, 2K.
just a reco head is $600

original bodywork with little or no rust??? full respray 5-8K

I think its worth every cent that it gets even though its more than I can get agreement to spend

15K is not unreasonable either

Congratulations on the purchase. We can look forward to seeing another pristine example of Isuzu craftmanship after you have waved your magic wand over it. Look forward to seeing it.
