Hi Glenn
This is what it looks like
This is of a G160ss but basically the same
flat top pistons I think
The challenge would be the front timing cover etc
they retain the 'Balance Shaft' to drive the dizzy which would origionally have been the Cam for the OHV engine variant
The timing gear is universaly on this shaft and the crank with the double row timing chain
They then mount a second timing sprocket on front of the 'Balance shaft' and then one on front of the Camshaft located in the 2 section head - bit weird
Then it a hydroulic timing chain (Second chain) adjustor and a number or guides.
The link I forwarded has it all
Hope this helps
Cheers
James

thanks for the excellent pictures. Explains a lot. I have new chains and gears for any future work. My new pistons (Luv) are flat topped. They don't have that slight raised section like your motor as I think the Luv engine is lower CR. Which might mean head work to bring CR back, if possible.

Bit early to tell yet Geoff I think. The leak at rear of engine seems to be much less and perhaps the O ring area is also but I have only put about 180km on engine since putting in the Wynns. I think its encouraging though.... (or in my mind !)
