Thanks! must seize the time when the weather gets worse, soon it will be a lot of snow here (maybe), and then there will be no Bellett running...

Re: Belletts in Sweden
Hello Belletts in Sweden!
I'm so happy you've joined the Forum; it's great that there are still people from all over the world appearing with these cars to join us!
Do you know how many were sold in Sweden originally!??
Also some people made comment that the cars are left-hand-drive and you yourself said you drive on the right side. I wonder how many people know that Sweden drove on the left side like Japan, the UK and Australia, right up until 03 September 1967?!?
I remember being told that as a kid and recently researched the changeover, which came to be known as 'Dagen H' or "H-Day"!
Still, from what I read, pretty much all cars sold in Sweden were left-hand-drive anyway, so the Isuzu Belletts you have were probably sold back when you drove on the left side (which is the 'right side' if you're Japanese, British or Australian).
Confusing!
So great to see your cars; please stay in touch and keep up the pictures; we've had people from South Africa and Russia join our Forum, but they went quiet very quickly.
Interestingly, the cars seemed to have been sold EVERYWHERE. Even in the USA, they were not officially sold, but I've read of people seeing RHD-examples for sale next to LHD Isuzu Bellels in San Francisco, plus they were officially sold new in Hawaii and Canada, where they were assembled.
About three were sold in the UK; Bruce McLaren had a sedan and a GT was prepared by Jack Brabham's workshop. One of the Japanese prototypes was tested by Stirling Moss, so many Formula 1 connections there!
Anyway, I digress; keep up the good work; great little memorabilia collection too!
Cheers,
Dave

Re: Belletts in Sweden
Thanks for all the comments!
Has not been on the forum for a while but NOW!!
Bumpers are new chrome in Denmark, they was so awful before so it was much needed.
GerryBellettGT: The steering wheel is on the correct side... right?
Kjb: This is the only car that I have been able to verify that they should be two-tone, should also be a white stripe tires.
Spare wheel has never been mounted so it is in perfect condition.
Dave: Thanks very nice that you guys are interested in what happens in small Sweden!
It's probably not many people know, amazed that you know we drove on the left side!! We did go over to the right side because all the cars were left-hand drive, overtaking was a little more exciting...
you're right, the day H...Dad was standing at an intersection, directing cars that day only 15 years old ... no safety mindset ...
I will not disappear from the forum these cars are my legacy...
I'll ask dad about the number of cars sold so I will return.
Ann again thanks for the comments let them
continue to come.
(It's nice to read about Belletter when eating breakfast)

Re: Belletts in Sweden
Then I have to show off the car as I need a brake master cylinder to, Dick in Holland had one that I'm going to restore!
Quite busy in the garage
But I am a Volkswagen nut so it looks like this...

New brakes!

There has been a lot of work with this , much rust that had to be repaired but now it's "finished" except the master cylinder which is hopefully soon in the mailbox

Re: Belletts in Sweden
It arrived 1800 cars to Sweden Christmas 1965, no one knows how many were sold before bankruptcy but dad thinks about 1000 cars.
Now I have to sleep for a few hours.

Looks much better now.
Is that an old Volvo in the background ? Very rare over here.
