Hi. Recently had my 1967 1600GT sent to me in the UK from SA. I need advice please on ignition parts - points, condenser, rotor arm, distributor cap coil - or whole distributor and coil. I have been told Datsun 120Y distributor fits but, when I enquire, I'm asked which model 120Y. Can anyone advise, please, which model Datsun 120Y distributor fits - or where else I can obtain parts that fit or a whole distributor. Thanks

As far as I know the distributor is Hitachi. Just what other cars used the same cap, I am unsure.
But others I am sure will reply. I recently bought a new cap but right now can't locate the part number for it.
Attached though is some general info which includes the electrical with part numbers that might assist if your parts supplier can cross reference them.
EDIT: actually, if you search "bellett distributor cap" on eBay many pop up and you can confirm suitability if you compare with Cap you have.
